Create your own asymmetrical basket with a unique whittled hazel or willow handle (its my favourite bit!).
You will spend the day learning a variety of different techniques including pairing weave, 3 rod wale and French rand. The willow is all sustainably harvested and you will get the choice from a range of earthy tones to make your unique basket.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some weaving experience.
It’s in the studio workshop above Weaveknitit shop at Cromford, Derbyshire which is accessed by stairs (toilets on the same level). Hot drinks provided throughout the day and you will need to bring a packed lunch or can buy from one of the cafes on site.
