Learn to Knit Workshop – complete beginners May

Come and learn how to knit, for complete beginners.

You will learn about different needles and yarn, how to cast on, knit and purl and hopefully cast off. I work at your speed so if everything clicks we get through more but don’t worry if not. The repetition of knitting is very mindful, once the initial frustration of making your hands work differently it is enjoyable. I also will help you understand patterns.

The aim is to make a simple headband.

Needles, yarn and sheet included along with refreshments.

Tutor is Sarah from weaveKNITit, a wool artist and graduate from the Royal College of Art with over 2 decades of experience in the fashion and textile industry and a passion for sharing her textile love and knowledge.
